There is a new radio message from Esteban Ocon - and it's not a pleasant one for Alpine.

"I've hit the wall," says the Frenchman.

That's more like a scrape, rather than a full-on hit, so the team shouldn't panic too much Ocon heads back into the pits from P18.

I don't want to jinx Charles Leclerc, as the poor fella needs all the luck in the world when it comes to the Monaco Grand Prix, but he is looking very quick on his home turf. The Monegasque driver extracts more pace out of the Ferrari to bank a new time of 1:11.278 on the softs.
