When you buy a new vehicle, you have the opportunity to use digital services from VW Connect / VW Connect Plus or We Connect / We Connect Plus for the free initial contract period. To use the VW Connect / VW Connect Plus or We Connect / We Connect Plus services, you must have a Volkswagen ID user account and need to log in with your username and password. Once the Volkswagen ID user account has been successfully set up and linked to your vehicle, you can use the vehicle-, country-, software- and equipment-specific digital services for an initial contract period free of charge. For this purpose, a separate VW Connect / VW Connect Plus or We Connect / We Connect Plus contract must be concluded with Volkswagen AG online at www.myvolkswagen.net or via the “Volkswagen” app (available in the App Store and Google Play Store). The actual length of the free contract period depends on when you activate the digital services. From the ninetieth day after initial delivery at the latest, the free initial contract period will begin to reduce automatically. You can view the exact contract period for your specific vehicle on myVolkswagen www.myvolkswagen.net.

For customers with VW Connect and VW Connect Plus: The use of mobile online services is enabled by means of an integrated Internet connection. For the use of Internet Radio, Wi-Fi hotspot and Alexa, where available, data packages can be purchased from Cubic Telecom, our mobile communications partner, and used in the network coverage area within many European countries. The data in these packages can be used by all users and vehicle occupants. You can find information on conditions, prices and supported countries at vw.cubictelecom.com. Alternatively, you can use the Internet Radio, Wi-Fi hotspot and Alexa, where available, with a mobile device (e.g. smartphone), provided it has the ability to function as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. In this case, the corresponding function is only available subject to an existing or separate mobile phone contract between you and your mobile network operator and only within the coverage area of the respective mobile network. Additional fees (for example, roaming charges) may arise when exchanging data on the Internet, depending on your particular mobile phone rate and especially when using the service abroad.

For customers with We Connect and We Connect Plus: The use of mobile online services is enabled by means of an integrated Internet connection. For the use of the streaming services, individual in-car apps and the Wi-Fi hotspot, data packages can be purchased from Cubic Telecom, our mobile communications partner, and used in the network coverage area within many European countries. The data in these packages can be used by all users and vehicle occupants. You can find information on conditions, prices and supported countries at vw.cubictelecom.com. Alternatively, you can use these services with a mobile device (e.g. smartphone) with the ability to function as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. In this case, the corresponding services are only available subject to an existing or separate mobile phone contract between you and your mobile network operator and only within the coverage area of the respective mobile network. Additional fees (for example, roaming charges) may arise when exchanging data on the Internet, depending on your particular mobile phone rate and especially when using the service abroad.

A smartphone with a suitable iOS or Android operating system and SIM card with data option with an existing mobile data contract or one to be agreed separately between you and your mobile data provider is required to use the free app “Volkswagen”. The services included in the We Connect and We Connect Plus or VW Connect and VW Connect Plus packages may vary by country. Availability also depends on vehicle model, equipment and software version installed. This also applies to third-party services. The services are available for the agreed contract period and may be subject to substantive changes or ceased during the contract period. To obtain upgrades, you need a

Volkswagen ID user

account, a valid VW Connect / We Connect contract and your primary user verification, i.e. the link between your user

account and the specific vehicle. Your vehicle also needs to have the technical function, hardware and software required for the relevant upgrade. The availability of upgrades may also depend on the model year and production date. The upgrades available for the specific vehicle can be viewed by the primary user in the infotainment system In-Car Shop or the

Volkswagen Connect web shop at connect-shop.volkswagen.com. Paid-for products can be purchased in the In-Car Shop and/or the

Volkswagen Connect shop with the payment methods that are currently available and can be viewed there. The availability of upgrades functions may vary between the web shop and In-Car Shop. Your

Volkswagen dealership is also happy to advise on questions regarding upgrades and their availability. Purchased and activated upgrades remain with the vehicle for the duration of the activation period, can be used by all

drivers and cannot be transferred to other vehicles.

The specified consumption and emissions values were obtained using the legally required measurement procedure. On 1 January 2022, the WLTP test cycle fully replaced the NEDC test cycle. Accordingly, no NEDC values are available for new type-approved vehicles after this date.Figures are not based on a single individual vehicle and are not part of the offer, but serve solely to facilitate comparisons between different types of vehicles. Additional equipment and accessories (attachments, tyre format, etc.) could change relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics. As well as weather and traffic conditions and personal driving style, these add-ons could also affect a vehicle’s fuel consumption, power consumption, CO2 emissions and performance.Due to the more realistic testing conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions values measured according to the WLTP are often higher than those measured under the NEDC. This may result in corresponding changes in vehicle taxation as of 1 September 2018.
