How to watch Pixar's new movie Luca online at home on Disney+
Take a trip to the Italian Riviera.

Pixar's new original movie Luca is now available to watch in the comfort of your own home on Disney+.
Like Soul in 2020, Disney chose to release Luca directly to the streaming service, skipping cinemas and without the Premier Access extra fee that the likes of Cruella and Raya and the Last Dragon have had.
The movie tells the coming-of-age story of one young boy who experiences an unforgettable summer in a seaside town on the Italian Riviera with her new best friend. Their happiness is threatened by a secret though: they're both sea monsters.
Luca is available to watch right now on Disney+ for all subscribers. If you're not a Disney+ subscriber, you can sign up for £7.99 a month or £79.90 for a full year (a 15% discount).
You can also subscribe to the streaming service with O2 if you're a new customer or looking for an upgrade. You can get six months of Disney+ free as part of its selected 'Extras' deals if you upgrade or are joining the network as a new customer.
If you're an existing O2 customer but aren't looking to upgrade, you can still add Disney+ to your plan and it'll take £2 off your monthly bill as a bonus.
Earlier this year, Luca director Enrico Casarosa said that he was "sad" that people wouldn't get to experience the movie in cinemas, although he added: "But Disney+ is wonderful because so many people will get to see it. So many kids will get to see it."
With a Disney+ subscription, you'll also get access to recent releases Mulan, Soul and Raya and the Last Dragon, not to mention all the latest Marvel and Star Wars content like WandaVision, Loki and The Mandalorian.
Disney has also recently added a ton of shows and movies to the streaming platform via its new brand Star, so there's no better time than now to sign up.

Unlike the premium subscription fee that was required to watch “Cruella” or “Mulan,” anyone who is currently subscribed to Disney Plus has access to “Luca” on-demand. There is no additional cost required to watch the film.
Luca, a comedy movie starring Jacob Tremblay, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Emma Berman is available to stream now. Watch it on Disney Plus, ROW8, Prime Video, Fandango at Home or Apple TV on your Roku device.
Pixar's “Soul,” “Turning Red” and “Luca” are coming to theaters after they originally had streaming-only releases on Disney+ during the COVID-19 pandemic. The three movies will come to theaters nationwide in 2024, with tickets going on sale Jan. 2.
A young boy experiences an unforgettable seaside summer on the Italian Riviera filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: he is a sea monster from another world just below the ocean's surface.
Disney+ does not offer a free trial at sign-up. However, free trials or promotions for a Disney+ subscription may be offered by third-party billing partners. For more details, please contact Disney+ Support.
In addition to the violent scenes and scary visual images mentioned above, Luca has some scenes that could scare or disturb children aged 5-8 years. For example, Luca's mother tells him that 'land monsters' (people) will murder him if they catch him.
Luca's emotional exit from S.W.A.T. was brought about by injuries that left him unable to serve. The entire season 7 cast is preparing to say goodbye, but Luca's departure was especially difficult. Luca struggled with the idea of a desk job after giving his heart and soul to S.W.A.T.
This reunion came after the character spent most of Season 4 so far away from the rest of the team. At the end of Season 3, Luca was injured and required surgery on his hip. Then, he struggled to pass his fitness test, leaving fans worried that the character was set to leave.
